Hazbin Hotel's Creator Has Seen Your Season 2 Predictions — And She Has Good News

The highly-awaited Season 2 of the musical adult cartoon Hazbin Hotel launches on Prime Video this week, and audience theories has been intense.

The first season introduces a diverse group of personalities residing in Hell and Heaven, sets them at odds accompanied by musical numbers about their clashes, and establishes heated competitions and angsty, affectionate connections that fuel fan obsession.

The community's expectations for season 2 differ greatly, but certain themes emerge over and over: Will Angel Dust escape his tormentor? Might we learn more about the mysterious "deal" affecting Alastor the Radio Demon? Might certain characters' relationships evolve?

"Obviously, I don't produce the show with audience demands as the main goal," the showrunner commented earlier this year. "But I believe that me being a fan of my own show means there's a lot of it just inherently. I also am eager for these things, and I hope some of these things to happen, and clearly some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

She reveals her long-term vision is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Seasons 3 and 4 have received approval by the production companies, which produce the series.

That might mean fans have to be patient for some of the major resolutions — but they could be shocked at how fast season 2 moves, and how many of what they're waiting for happens this season.

"I feel like people are going to be highly satisfied," the creator notes. "There are several debut moments. I think we get some incredible disclosures, some fascinating origin tales, and even just simple things, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] Audiences will experience much more singing from the previously silent cast members."

The creator is well-informed of the theories and desires about season 2 — particularly in the format of fan bingo cards.

"I've come across a few fans make a prediction grid about season 2," she says. "Obviously I can't post it, but I've actually done a few items, and nearly every one of them have almost a bingo. I was like, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that leads me to believe we do a lot [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I was like, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that brings me joy."

Hazbin Hotel season 2 premieres on the streaming service on Oct. 29.
